A little too big., Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Speaker Wire Pants - 10 Gauge (Y Boot) -10 Pack (Electronics) The speaker wire I have consists of 2 16 gauge stranded (i.e. not solid) wires, each with their own plastic jackets (one black, one red). Both of these wires run together inside of a white plastic jacket. The white looks pretty good, but it kind of looks ugly at the ends where the red and black wires split out. Just looks unfinished. Thus the need for these wire pants.They work great. I had to install a total of 8. 4 where my wires go into a wall plate and 4 more where the are connected to the other wall plate. They look much nicer than the plain wires just coming straight out of the white jacket. The white to black transition looks a little funny to me, and I am thinking about covering the wires with black "tech flex" to give them a more consistent look, but that is just my preference. BONUS: my cats can no longer chew on my wires!!! Before I installed these, my dumb cats would sometimes chew on the wires right where they went into the terminators (for who... Read more |
